3:02 a.m. K9 deployment in the area of S. Wabash St. / E. Riverside Dr. Free air sniff.

3:49 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. US Route 31, Peru. Written warnings issued.

8:36 a.m. A report of a male that had locked himself in a car with multiple butcher knives, extremely paranoid, possibly going to try and commit suicide in the 1100 block of Veach’s Ct. Male was detained and transported to the hospital for an evaluation. Male eventually transported to the Miami County Jail on an out-of-county arrest warrant.

9:35 a.m. A report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of E. Main St. Checked ok.

9:57 a.m. A civil matter concerning eviction in the 100 block of W. 5th St., Peru. Parties were advised they needed documentation from the court for the eviction process to occur.

11:40 a.m. Citizen assistance at Sherwood Court on W. Main St. Civil property issue. Assistance was given.

11:58 a.m. Disabled vehicle in the area of S. Sease Dr. / S. US Route 31, Peru. Located motorist pulled off the side of the highway. The male said he was letting his vehicle cool, that it was having issues. The male advised he did not need assistance.

12:44 p.m. Welfare check at the Peru Skate Park on W. Canal St. Report of an injured subject at the skate park. There was no one there when officers arrived and they were unable to locate any problems.

12:51 p.m. Citizen assistance at Sherwood Court on W. Main St. No additional information provided.

12:54 p.m. A caller in the 100 block of W. 5th St. located items of drug paraphernalia. The items were brought to the Peru Police Department and placed into evidence for destruction.

1:27 p.m. Alarm in the 50 block of Wilson Ave. Checked ok.

1:35 p.m. A report of a vehicle parked in someone’s yard that does not belong to them in the 200 block of Monroe Ave. An officer located the owner who was working with a lawn crew nearby. The male moved the vehicle upon request.

1:36 p.m. A report of suspicious males in the area of Parkway Ter. / Rosewood Dr. Checked ok.

1:40 p.m. An officer took a report of criminal mischief in the 200 block of Chili Ave. A vehicle was broken into and damage done to the interior. A report was taken.

2:44 p.m. A report of a suspicious person/vehicle in the area of Abraham Ln. / S. Broadway Ave. Checked ok.

3:10 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of Logan St. / N. Broadway St. An officer assisted ISP with a traffic stop.

4:27 p.m. Property damage accident in the 00 block of Boulevard. Two vehicle, property damage collision resulting in apparent damage under $1,000. Both parties did not wish to make a crash report.

4:32 p.m. Juvenile problem in the 20 block of W. 10th St. No additional information was provided.

6:38 p.m. Civil matter in the 100 block of Blackhawk Ct. Civil dispute over the sale of a trailer. Complainant advised to seek legal advice from an attorney.

9:58 p.m. Animal problem in the 70 block of W. 3rd St. A report of loose dogs running down 3rd St. Unable to locate.

10:18 p.m. A report of a burglary in the 200 block of S. Broadway Ave. Possible theft of items outside a restaurant. A report was made.
