12:52 a.m. A report of threats was taken from a citizen at the Miami County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

1:26 a.m. A report of a burglary in the 800 block of N. Maple St., Converse. A citizen advised he heard somebody trying to open his garage door. The area was checked but the subject could not be located.

2:35 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 1100 S. / S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. Warning issued.

12:05 a.m. A report of a prowler in the 20 block of S. Park Ave. No one was located in the area.

12:24 a.m. An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle at Village Market on Washington Ave. The driver was playing a cell phone video game. Checked ok.

12:35 a.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of W. 3rd St. Officers could not locate the address and the complainant would not provide the correct address upon calling.

1:27 a.m. A report of a runaway juvenile in the 10000 block of S. Walnut St., Amboy. The juvenile was located and returned to a guardian. A report will be forwarded to probation.

1:58 a.m. A deputy conducted a transport from Dukes Memorial Hospital.

6:30 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of W. 1500 N. / N. 100 W., Akron. Chad Ostler, 50 of Michigantown was eastbound on CR 1500 N. near CR 100 W. when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported.

1:19 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Holman St. / W. 5th St.

2:17 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the area of N. Union St. / W. 7th St. Several subjects walking in an alley. Two of the subjects were adults. The subjects were advised to get home.

3:31 a.m. Traffic stop in the 10 block of N. Broadway St. Warning issued.

12:11 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance at the Skyview Motel on S. Business 31, Peru. This call was handled by the Indiana State Police.

12:15 a.m. A report of an intoxicated female in the 100 block of S. Main St., Amboy. The woman had a friend with her who stated he would keep an eye on her.

1:18 a.m. Citizen assistance in the 600 block of E. 1500 N., Macy. A deputy spoke with a citizen over the phone who had questions regarding child custody. Assistance was given.

12:27 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 400 block of Madison Ave. Someone attempted to gain entry to the residence via the front door. Assistance was given.

12:42 a.m. A report of a strange odor in the area of N. Chili Ave. / Harrison Ave. Officers could not locate the source of the odor.

1:59 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Jefferson St. / W. 7th St. Warning issued.

12:35 a.m. Agency assistance in the 1300 block of Donaldson Ave., Peru. A deputy attempted to locate a wanted subject for Cass County.

5:12 a.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check on a subject at the Knights Inn on S. Business 31, Peru. A caller wanted to report their daughter as a runaway. After determining the daughter was 19 years of age, the caller was advised that the Sheriff’s Office could not assist them. The Sheriff’s Department did make some phone calls assisting the caller with trying to locate the adult. The caller was advised to contact the Sheriff’s Department if they believe the adult is in danger or they could not locate her by this evening.

6:41 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 1000 N. / N. Washington St., Deedsville. Written warning issued.
