7:42 a.m. A report of a burglary in the 4700 block E. State Road 16, Peru. A caller reported tools taken from the residence. A case report was taken.

10:31 a.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Low Bob Tobacco on W. Main St., Peru.

10:58 a.m. Residential Alarm in the 1700 block of W. Farview Dr., Peru. The homeowner reported it was an accidental set off.

8:18 p.m. Miami County Deputies responded to the West 3000 Block of 1350 N., Macy. 20-year-old Kyle Banter of Rochester discharged a firearm one time after a verbal altercation with an ex-girlfriend. Banter was arrested on a charge of Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon.
