12:45 a.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at the Village Pantry on N. Foreman Dr., Peru.

1:49 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 3000 block of S. Wallick Rd., Peru. Anthony Swears, 28 of Peru was traveling south on Wallick Rd., south of CR 300 S. in a 2004 Dodge when his vehicle went left of center and left the roadway striking a cement post. No injuries were reported. A state crash report was completed.

2:33 a.m. A deputy assisted ISP with a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Donaldson Ave., Peru.

2:39 a.m. A report of loud music in the 1200 block of Chanute Ave., Peru. The subjects agreed to turn their music off for the night.

4:49 a.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Chanute Ave. No additional information was provided on this call.

6:38 a.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of E. 1100 S. / S. 700 E., Amboy. The vehicle had a flat tire. The owner had help on the way and was making arrangements for a wrecker.

7:31 a.m. Traffic hazard in the area of W. 550 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru.

8:21 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of S. State Road 19 / E. 500 S., Peru. Jason M. Gibson of Galveston was operating a 1998 Buick on CR 500 S. Gibson was crossing State Road 19 when he struck a 2011 Ford operated by William R. Blackburn of Amboy. Estimated damage is $3,000. No injuries were reported.

1:16 p.m. Offender address verification in the 60 block of E. 2nd St., Peru.

1:23 p.m. Offender address verification in the 100 block of W. Main St.

1:46 p.m. A caller spoke with a deputy regarding personal property. Assistance was given.

2:12 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at the Grissom Air Museum on W. Hoosier Blvd., Peru.

2:20 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of S. US Route 31 / W. State Road 218, Peru. Barbara Murphy, 28 of Ohio was southbound on US Route 31 near CR 560 in a 2011 Toyota directly behind a 2010 Jeep driven by Amanda Marshall, 29 of Denver. Marshal advised a vehicle had abruptly stopped directly in front of her causing her to come to a quick stop in the middle of the roadway. Murphy advised she was unable to stop in time before striking the rear end of the Jeep. No injuries were reported. A state crash report was completed.

3:05 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 2300 block of W. 2nd St., Mexico.

3:23 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Miami Correctional Facility on W. 850 S., Bunker Hill.

3:41 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 3200 block of W. State Road 18, Kokomo.

4:38 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 8400 block of N. 100 W., Denver.

5:00 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of S. Business 31 / S. US Route 31, Peru. Jordan Bates, 19 of South Bend was southbound on US Route 31 near Business 31 in a 1990 GMC Pick-up directly behind a 2010 Ford driven by Clifford Clevenger, 46 of Princeton. When Clevenger slowed for stopped traffic, Bates said he attempted to stop but was unsuccessful and struck the rear end of the Ford causing damage to both vehicles. Clevenger was transported from the scene by EMS for a complaint of pain. A crash report was completed.

5:53 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 600 S. / S. 200 W., Peru. Warning issued.

6:32 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 13000 block of S. Deer Creek Ave., Kokomo.

7:08 p.m. A deputy responded to the 60 block of E. Harrison St., Denver for a verbal altercation where one party displayed a knife. The parties were separated upon the arrival of law enforcement. This incident is under investigation.

7:36 p.m. A deputy spoke with a man via telephone who advised his ex-wife has been harassing him through text messages. The male stated he wanted to make a report for the record only at this time in case of any further incidents.

8:23 p.m. A deputy located a suspicious vehicle on the 2500 block of S. Maple Ct., Peru. Everything checked ok.

10:00 p.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 2700 block of Capehart St., Peru.

11:50 p.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance at Mississinewa Reservoir, Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.
