12:45 a.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 2500 block of W. 3rd St., Mexico.

1:21 a.m. Agency assistance in the area of S. State Road 19 / E. 500 S., Peru. A deputy assisted ISP with a traffic stop.

1:47 a.m. Agency assistance in the area of E. 800 S. / S. Strawtown Pike, Bunker Hill. A deputy assisted ISP with a vehicle search.

5:40 a.m. A report of trespassing in the 5000 block of E. 100 S., Peru. The suspects packed up their camping gear and agreed to leave the area.

9:10 a.m. A report of a suspicious male on a bike in the 4700 block of N. State Road 19, Peru. A deputy was unable to locate.

11:00 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to check the welfare of a person in the 1600 block of W. 600 S., Peru. Prior to arrival, the deputy was advised to disregard the call.

11:40 a.m. A citizen located a needle along the roadway in the area of E. 250 S. / S. 100 E., Peru. The item was disposed of in a sharps container.

12:31 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 2400 block of S. US Route 31, Peru.

1:11 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 2300 block of W. Willow Ln., Peru. Confirmed accidental call, no emergency.

3:13 p.m. Sex offender address verification in the 10000 block of S. Poplar St., Miami.

3:25 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 1050 S. / S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. Warning issued.

4:01 p.m. Traffic accident with damage at the Marathon Station on S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. A deputy took the report of a hit and run accident that occurred approximately 20 minutes prior to his entering the store. The driver of the parked vehicle was located, and a crash report was completed.

4:16 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 3700 block of W. Clover Ln., Kokomo. A woman had questions concerning trash that was found on her vacant property in the Willow Creek Addition. Assistance was given.

4:50 p.m. A report of gunshots in the 10000 block of S. 200 W., Miami. The subjects were located and asked to stop shooting until a proper backstop could be erected. No further action taken.

6:15 p.m. Sex offender address verification in the 100 block of W. 7th St., Peru.

6:33 p.m. A deputy spoke with a man over the phone concerning a civil issue and personal property.

6:52 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 2900 block of E. 1100 N., Macy. Cara Davila, 29 of Macy struck a deer while traveling west on CR 1100 N., near CR 600 E. No injuries were reported.

8:09 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 4800 block of S. 250 E., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.

8:18 p.m. A report of fraud in the 500 block of W. 10th St. A deputy spoke with a woman over the phone who had concerns that her computer had been hacked.

8:57 p.m. Building check in the 10000 block of N. Meridian Rd., Macy. Building checked secure.

9:09 p.m. Loud music complaint in the 400 block of N. Jefferson St., Converse. Subjects advised they would turn the music off.

9:29 p.m. A deputy assisted PPD with a report of suspicious individuals at Davis Park on E. Main St., Peru.

9:47 p.m. Traffic hazard in the 5400 block of N. US Route 31, Peru. Single vehicle accident. Lisa Bellamy, 39 of Mill Brook, Alabama struck a deer while traveling southbound on US Route 31. No injuries were reported.

10:01 p.m. A report of disorderly conduct in the 2500 block of Kelly Ave., Peru. Intoxicated subjects were setting off fireworks. They advised they were all done for the night.

10:50 p.m. A report of fireworks in the 4800 block of S. 250 E., Peru.

10:57 p.m. A deputy conducted a transport from Dukes Memorial Hospital.
