12:35 a.m. Agency assistance in the 1300 block of Donaldson Ave., Peru. A deputy attempted to locate a wanted subject for Cass County.
5:12 a.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check on a subject at the Knights Inn on S. Business 31, Peru. A caller wanted to report their daughter as a runaway. After determining the daughter was 19 years of age, the caller was advised that the Sheriff’s Office could not assist them. The Sheriff’s Department did make some phone calls assisting the caller with trying to locate the adult. The caller was advised to contact the Sheriff’s Department if they believe the adult is in danger or they could not locate her by this evening.
6:41 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 1000 N. / N. Washington St., Deedsville. Written warning issued.
10:39 a.m. A report of a coyote running around the North Miami Schools on E. 900 N., Denver. A deputy was unable to locate.
11:30 a.m. A citizen in the 2400 block of N. Meridian Rd., Peru reported that a young man came to her door yesterday asking to paint her barn. She refused. Today her daughter called and said he was back at the door and knocking hard. The male left the area. A deputy checked the area to make sure everything was ok. Everything checked secure.
12:59 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of S. Sease Dr. / S. US Route 31, Peru. Aracelsi Hernandez Mandina, 25 of Indianapolis was southbound in the passing lane of US Route 31 approaching S. Sease Dr. when Keyan Arnott, 20 of Bristol was attempting to enter the crossover from the driving lane. Arnott’s vehicle struck the passenger side of the other vehicle before both came to rest in the median. No injuries were reported.
1:01 p.m. A citizen in the 1000 block of W. Main St. believes she was being stalked by another woman driving a silver Toyota Carolla. The female was sitting in the car for about an hour when she called for help. The car was gone prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The deputy checked the area and was unable to locate.
1:40 p.m. Citizen assistance at the Walnut Hill Mobile Home Park on E. 3rd St., Bunker Hill. A deputy spoke with the property owner in reference to an eviction.
2:39 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of E. State Road 124 / Wallace Ave., Peru. A tree was located in the roadway.
5:11 p.m. A deputy spoke with a citizen in Denver by phone who had concerns about property missing from a recently purchased estate. The ownership of the missing property was determined, and the complainant requested no further assistance.
5:16 p.m. Sex Offender address verification in the 4500 block of S. Garber Dr., Peru.
5:16 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Raber’s County Store in Macy.
5:33 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 4300 block of S. 100 W., Peru.
6:09 p.m. A deputy responded to the 2800 block of S. State Road 19, Peru for a complaint of threats. It was determined the communication in question was not a threat. All parties agreed to cease communication. No further action was taken.
7:14 p.m. Agency assistance at Maple Lawn Village Mobile Home Park on S. US Route 31, Kokomo. A deputy assisted the Department of Child Services with investigation of an abuse allegation.
11:57 p.m. Agency assistance in the 5800 block of S. US Route 31, Peru. A deputy assisted ISP with a traffic stop.
