3:52 a.m. An officer located a disabled vehicle in the area of W. Hoosier Blvd. / S. US Route 31, Peru. The vehicle was tagged for possible future removal.
5:05 a.m. A deputy responded to the 2500 block of S. Strawtown Pike, Peru for the report of a possible prowler. This was an unfounded call.
5:22 a.m. A report of a suspicious person at the McClure gas station at US Route 31 / State Road 18, Kokomo. The woman was gone prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
5:52 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the 2500 block of S. Strawtown Pike, Peru. Unfounded call at this address.
6:35 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the 2500 block of S. Strawtown Pike, Peru. Unfounded call from a subject apparently under the influence of a substance reporting a suspicious person near her property. The area was checked, and nothing was located.
8:15 a.m. A deputy spoke with a citizen at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department regarding a dispute over a civil contract. The subject was advised to see legal counsel.
8:55 a.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 6400 block of N. 100 E., Denver.
10:34 a.m. A report missing medication at Blair Ridge on W. Meadowview Dr., Peru. The medication was located just prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
11:13 a.m. A caller to the Sheriff’s Department had questions regarding a vehicle that was towed from a crash scene. Assistance was given.
11:51 a.m. A deputy transported a man to Logansport per a court order.
12:31 p.m. A report of a fire at the Macy Elevator on W. 1350 N., Macy. No additional information was provided on this call.
3:14 p.m. A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area of N. Eel River Cemetery Rd. / W. Blair Pike Road, Peru. A deputy was unable to locate the intoxicated driver.
3:24 p.m. A citizen came to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office to report a juvenile problem.
4:20 p.m. A caller reported an ominous looking cloud in the area of E. 400 S. / S. State Road 19. A deputy checked the area for any weather concerns. The area checked ok.
4:21 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Blair Ridge on W. Meadowview Dr., Peru.
5:54 p.m. A deputy spoke with the property owner at Maple Lawn Village Mobile Home Park in S. US Route 31 in regard to unfavorable conduct by his tenant. The deputy suggested he seek an eviction.
6:07 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 2500 block of Kelly Ave.
6:21 p.m. Units responded to the 1500 block of Forbes Ave., Peru for a welfare check. Everything checked ok.
7:29 p.m. Warrant service in the 39000 block of Edwards Ct., Peru. Setiva Reemer, 36 of Peru was arrested on a Miami County Warrant for Violation of Probation.
8:07 p.m. Suspicious items were located in a yard in the 400 block of N. Elm St., Bunker Hill. Items were collected and discarded by law enforcement.
8:16 p.m. Agency assistance in the 100 block of N. Madison St., Converse. Report of a physical altercation. Officers from Converse Marshall’s Office handled the call.
8:45 p.m. Agency assistance. More issues in the 100 block of N. Madison St., Converse. The Converse Marshall’s Office resolved the situation.
9:33 p.m. A report of loud music at the Hi N Dri Mobile Home Park on W. 10th St., Peru. A deputy was unable to locate loud noise of any kind. No action was taken.
