11:27 a.m. An officer provided information regarding an abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of Bobtail Pike. The property manager was advised that the vehicle could be removed from the property and to make central dispatch aware of where the vehicle would be towed to.

11:31 a.m. Officers responded to the report of a fight – not domestic in the 800 block of Bobtail Ct. The parties were separated, and one was gone upon the arrival of law enforcement. Report taken.

12:43 p.m. An officer responded to the report of criminal mischief at Miller’s Merry Manor in the 300 block of Blair Pike. Damage to the lawn at Miller’s Merry Manor, information was exchanged for getting the yard fixed.

12:47 p.m. An officer responded to the report of burglary in the 200 block of W. 7th St. Two window air conditioning units were stolen from an abandoned residence that is being repaired. Assistance given.

1:50 p.m. An officer took a report of theft of wiring from a construction site in the 300 block of N. Broadway St.

2:38 p.m. An officer responded to the report of a traffic accident with property damage in the area of N. Broadway St. / E. 8th St. No further information provided.

4:44 p.m. An officer responded to the report of a suspicious male entering vacant residences in the 900 block of W. Main St. Unable to locate subject.

4:50 p.m. Officers responded to the report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of W. 7th St. Samuel Carr, 21, 266 W. 7th St., was arrested for Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child Less than 16 Years of Age, Burglary, and Theft.

6:26 p.m. At the Peru Police Department Headquarters officers conducted a welfare check on a child who is living with relatives of the child’s mother. The child’s welfare checked OK and was left if the custody of the child’s mother. During the investigation, another female was found to have active arrest warrants and was taken into custody. Tammy Stambaugh, 36, 259 E. Main St., Peru, was arrested for an active White County Warrant.

6:58 p.m. An officer assisted with a juvenile issue in the 800 block of W. Main St. Assistance given.

8:27 p.m. An officer responded to the report of a disorderly male at Dukes Memorial Hospital in the 200 block of W. 12th St. Upon arrival of law enforcement, he subject was no longer disorderly.

8:30 p.m. An officer responded to the report of an unwanted guest at McClure Oil in the 200 block of S. Broadway Ave. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, it was found that the subject was not the person who the employee thought it was. The subject was causing no issues and was leaving the store.

8:32 p.m. An officer assisted an individual with a civil issue in the 500 block of W. 6th St.

8:45 p.m. An officer responded to the report of a traffic accident with property damage in the 300 block of S. Broadway Ave. A vehicle backed into another vehicle while leaving the parking lot of South Side Scoops. State crash report completed.
