5:12 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the 5500 block of S. State Road 19, Peru. The driver checked ok.

6:27 a.m. A report of the theft of copper wire from Sparks Towing on W. Logansport Rd., Peru.

6:43 a.m. A deputy checked on a disabled vehicle in the area of S. State Road 19 / E. 250 S., Peru. The vehicle checked ok.

11:08 a.m. Citizen assistance in the 2200 block of W. 300 N., Peru. A deputy assisted a citizen with questions regarding an emergency detention order.

1:17 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a person in the 3200 block of Schilling St., Peru. A deputy was dispatched but the caller reported she had contact with the subject prior to the arrival of the deputy. The call was disregarded.

2:05 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of E. 1050 S. / S. 700 E., Peru. A deputy assisted Converse Police with a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle.

2:20 p.m. Agency assistance at the main gate at Mississinewa Lake on S. 625 E., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.

6:31 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. US Route 31 / W. 800 N., Denver.

6:32 p.m. A deputy spoke with a citizen over the phone in the 4100 block of E. 400 S., who had questions regarding evictions.

6:55 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. State Road 16 / N. US Route 31, Denver. Citation issued.

7:18 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the 2900 block of Travis St., Peru. A deputy spoke with a woman who had questions regarding an incorrigible child.

8:26 p.m. Agency assistance in the 200 block of E. Academy St., Amboy. Warrant Service. Nathan Lewis, 23 of Amboy was arrested on a Miami County Warrant for Resisting Law Enforcement.

8:42 p.m. A report of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 39000 block of Edwards Ct., Peru. There were scratches on the caller’s vehicle. The damage was not intentional. Information was taken to assist the caller with insurance.

9:25 p.m. A report of an intoxicated man and woman being disorderly in the 2600 block of W. 500 S., Peru. Both parties agreed to remain separated for the evening. Assistance was given.

10:04 p.m. A deputy responded to the Miami County Jail on the report of suspicious activity. This is an ongoing investigation.

10:40 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Park Ave. / W. Main St., Peru. Warning issued.

11:39 p.m. Agency assistance in the 3400 block of Westover St., Peru. A deputy assisted the Department of Child Services with a home visit.
