11:11 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of Monroe Ave. / N. Chili Ave. Written warning issued.

11:28 a.m. Property damage accident at PNC Bank on S. Miami St. Sierra M. Hoff, 23 of Warsaw was operating a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze on the PNC Bank parking lot from the N/W entrance. Bethany R. Miller, 21 of Hammond, IN was operating a 2004 Saturn Ion and entered the same parking lot from the S/W entrance. Both drivers stated neither one saw the other and the two collided as the Saturn was making a right-hand turn. The damage was estimated at between $2,501 and $5,000. A state crash report was completed.

12:07 p.m. A report of threats via email was taken from a citizen at the Peru Police Department.

12:24 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 100 block of E. 6th St. A citizen requested a police officer walk through of a property she had rented and was concerned that narcotics had possibly been used by the tenants. An officer conducted the walkthrough and did not observe anything that would indicate that narcotics had been used in the residence. The woman was advised she might be able to purchase a test kit from the store just to be sure. Assistance was given.

1:13 p.m. Agency assistance in the 200 block of Franklin Ct. An officer assisted EMS with a medical call.

1:21 p.m. An officer attempted a welfare check in the area of N. Fremont St. / W. 8th St. Unable to locate the subject of the check. Assistance was given.

1:33 p.m. Personal injury accident in the 400 block of Life Rd., Peru. The driver advised that his tire went off the roadway and he was unable to correct it. A state crash report was completed. No additional information was provided on this call.

2:11 p.m. An officer conducted a welfare check on the 20 block of Turnpaugh Trl. No additional information was provided on this call.

2:22 p.m. A report of harassment at Millers Merry Manor on Blair Pike. A female reported that a female keeps texting her. The officer advised the lady to block the subject or just delete the texts.

3:27 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Wabash St. / E. Main St. Written warning issued.

3:31 p.m. Warrant service in the area of S. Tippecanoe St. / E. Main St. Brandan Martin, 29 of Peru was arrested on a Warren County Warrant.

3:55 p.m. A report of disorderly conduct in the area of Tippecanoe St. / E. 8th St. Father and stepson verbally fighting through the residence window. The subjects were separated upon arrival. The subjects were advised to keep it down.

4:03 p.m. A report of fraud at Miller’s Merry Manor on Blair Pike. Miami County Sheriff’s Department handled this call.

4:31 p.m. A caller in the 200 block of E. Main St. advised of a female banging on doors and causing problems. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.

4:43 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Broadway St. / W. 2nd St. Warning issued.

5:03 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 100 block of Fuller Ave. Checked ok.

5:14 p.m. Domestic Disturbance in the 200 block of E. 3rd St. Upon arrival it was found that the female left the area and the male didn’t wish to speak with the police.

5:37 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 500 block of E. Main St. Stood by as dog was given to the owner. Assistance was given.

5:58 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 60 block of Ewing St. Subject wanted to make a record that a female does not live at his residence. Assistance was given.
