5:34 a.m. Agency assistance in the 700 block of Madison Ave. Assisted Howard County in an attempt to locate an individual at an address. Upon investigation, the person had not lived at that residence in years. Howard County was updated.

8:35 a.m. Parking problem at Broadway Plaza. Semi parked by loading docks. The company was contacted and advised the truck would be moved shortly. Assistance was given.

9:24 a.m. Citizen assistance in the 500 block of E. 5th St. A subject received a text that her van was located at McClure’s south. The van was located there and returned to the proper owner.

9:31 a.m. Property damage accident in the 300 block of Blair Pike. Local report between Noble Truex and a parked vehicle.

9:37 a.m. Agency assistance at the Department of Child Services on S. Wabash St. Incident happened in the county. Call forwarded to MCSD.

7:06 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. 7th St. for a suspicious vehicle. Officers found a male passed out in a vehicle. The male advised he just fell asleep listening to the radio.

7:39 p.m. A report of the theft of a checkbook in the 400 block of Blackhawk Ct.

8:44 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Grant St. / Boulevard. Written warning issued.

8:50 p.m. An officer assisted EMS with a medical call in the 400 block of W. 6th St.

9:10 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Union / Main St. Verbal warning issued.

9:13 p.m. A report of theft in the 200 block of W. 12th St. A female had questions about her wife taking items. The woman was advised that this was a civil matter.

9:14 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Main St. / Hood St. Written warning issued.

9:39 p.m. A report of a suspicious item or package in the 00 block of Parkway Ter. The caller stated someone left a deceased dog on her porch after ringing the doorbell. The officer then began checking with a neighbor to see if anyone owned the small dog. A truck pulled up looking for the dog and the officer informed them what happened. The officer placed the dog in a blanket and returned it the dog to its owner. Nothing further.

2:48 p.m. A report of a disabled vehicle in the area of W. 5th St. / N. Broadway St.

2:53 p.m. A report of a traffic hazard in the area of N. Broadway St. / E. Washington Ave. Report of a camper with door agar being driven on the roadway. Checked ok.
