She declined to provide a statement for charges in reference to the threats that were reportedly made. She was advised to see a protective order and/or an eviction.

2:51 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 900 N. / N. US Route 31, Macy.
3:44 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of E. State Road 124 / S. Frances Slocum Trl., Peru. A deputy responded to the area in reference to a construction company striking power lines. The company advised they were setting up equipment when their drill struck the power line. Peru Utilities was contacted.
3:55 p.m. Welfare check in the 40000 block of Fairchild Ct., Peru. In reference to a small child in the roadway. A deputy was unable to locate.
4:23 p.m. Domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of E. State Road 124, Peru. This is an ongoing investigation.
4:24 p.m. A report of an unwanted guest in the 4100 block of W. Barberry Lane, Peru. Checked ok.
5:00 p.m. A report of a theft at the Miami County Jail. A deputy was dispatched to the jail in reference to a report of the theft of property by a jail inmate. This is an ongoing investigation.
5:45 p.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Maximum Power Sports on S. US Route 31, Peru.
5:58 p.m. Case follow-up in the 2300 block of S. Business 31, Peru.
6:54 p.m. A report of an intoxicated driver in the area of N. 700 E. / E. US Route 24, Wabash. A deputy located the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver did not show any signs of impairment.
6:54 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of W. State Road 18 / S. US Route 31, Kokomo. Tiffany Huffman of Peru was northbound on US 31 south of SR 18 in her 2007 silver Pontiac. Danielle Williamson of Oakford was traveling northbound on US 31 south of SR 18 in her 2017 white Dodge directly in front of Huffman. Williamson advised she began braking when Huffman struck the rear end of her vehicle. Both vehicles sustained damage. There were no injuries and a crash report was completed.
