10:17 a.m. Lost property in the 100 block of E. Main St. Central dispatch advised of an abandoned bicycle that was left in complainants’ front yard. After the initial report was taken, the owner of a bicycle made contact with central dispatch asking if any bicycles were located. The owner arrived on scene and confirmed the bicycle to be his sons. Nothing further, assistance was given.

10:36 a.m. A local report of a missing person was taken from a citizen at the Peru Police Department.

11:42 a.m. Citizen assistance in the area of N. Duke St. / Boulevard. An officer assisted a motorist with a flat tire.

1:25 p.m. A report of a small child that had been bitten by a stray dog in the 300 block of E. 6th St. Assistance was given.

2:33 p.m. Warrant service at the Miami County Courthouse. County unit at the Courthouse advised of a wanted subject needing to be taken into custody. Per Judge Banina male was to serve 13 days in jail. Gregory Sharp, 37 of Peru was transported to the Miami County Jail per a Court Order.

2:52 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. Main St. / Forrest. Warning issued.

3:25 p.m. A report of a lost or stolen bike was taken in the 100 block of E. Franklin St.

4:26 p.m. Agency assistance in the 1100 block of E. State Road 124, Peru. MCSD requested assistance with a domestic call. Officer attempted to locate a male who had left the scene. Officers were unable to locate the male subject. Assistance was given.

4:38 p.m. Traffic hazard in the area of S. Broadway St. / E. Canal St. Officers were unable to locate.

5:03 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Strawtown Pike / Park Dr. Verbal warning issued.

5:24 p.m. Property damage accident at Wendy’s on W. Main St. A juvenile driver was exiting the Wendy’s parking lot on W. Main Street when he struck a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country operated by Alberta N. Kinney, 75 of Peru. A state crash report was taken. No injuries were reported.

6:11 p.m. An officer spoke with a man at the Peru Police Department in reference to two bicycles he found along W. Riverside Dr. Assistance was given.

6:42 p.m. An officer conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of E. Main St. Assistance was given.

7:23 p.m. A report of a suspicious person at Walgreen’s on N. Broadway St. Checked ok.

7:29 p.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of W. 5th St. Upon arrival, an officer spoke with two males. One male advised that he was telling the other to leave his property. Both men advised that nothing physical took place. One male subject had an out of county arrest warrant. Christopher Booth, 39 of Peru was arrested on an Out of County Warrant.

7:29 p.m. A report of the theft of a vehicle in the 40 block of Cory Ave. While on the phone with the subject, the vehicle was located. Assistance was given.

8:09 p.m. Warrant service at Kroger on W. Main St. Felicia Schnitz, 39, of Marion, IN was arrested on a Miami County Warrant for Failure to Appear and new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Syringe.

8:31 p.m. Warrant service in the 60 block of E. Canal St.

10:14 p.m. A report of a disorderly subject at Dukes Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival, the subject was calm. Assistance was given.

10:54 p.m. A report of a male panhandling in the parking lot of Kroger on W. Main St. Officers were unable to locate.

11:09 p.m. A report of the theft of clothing in the 200 block of E. Washington Ave.

11:13 p.m. Deposit escort from the Dairy Queen on N. Broadway St.

11:45 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Van Buren Ave. / N. Chili Ave. Summons and Citation issued.
