12:34 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of Adams Ave. / N. Broadway St. Verbal warning issued.

2:43 a.m. An officer observed two males loading up two vehicles with articles from a residence in the area of S. Holman St. / W. 3rd St. The officer spoke with the individuals and it checked ok. The subjects advised that they were getting the last of their belongings and moving.

3:27 a.m. Report of a verbal domestic disturbance in the 400 block of W. 7th St. Upon arrival at the scene, the individuals involved were separated and removing personal items from a residence. The officers provided stand-by service with no further incident.

6:41 a.m. Report of a parking problem in the 400 block of W. 3rd St. Assistance given.

7:58 a.m. Traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Daniel St. Verbal warning issued.

1:40 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at McClures on S. Broadway Ave.

2:44 p.m. Report of a 911 hang-up in the 300 block of W. 8th St. No further information provided.

4:03 p.m. Officers in the area of S. Fremont St. / W. 2nd St. located a subject with an active warrant out of Miami County. Matthew Rasmus, 29, of Peru, was taken into custody on a Miami County Warrant for Failure to Appear.

4:17 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Broadway Liquors South on S. Broadway Ave.

5:28 p.m. Officers assisted the Peru Fire Department with a fire alarm call in the 40 block of McKinstry Ave. Food was burnt in the oven. Assistance given.

5:43 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Benton St. / E. Canal St. Written warning issued.

6:58 p.m. Officers responded to the report of a male yelling in the lobby at Dukes Memorial Hospital. The subject left the area upon the arrival of law enforcement.

7:26 p.m. Traffic stop at the Bourne End MHP. Melvin Harrell, 69, of Roann, was arrested on charges of Operating While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving.

7:30 p.m. An officer took a report of harassment in the 20 block of S. Benton St. Assistance given.

9:59 p.m. An escort was provided in the 800 block of N. Broadway St.

10:42 p.m. Report of several people fighting in the roadway in the area of S. Lafayette St. / W. 3rd St. The participants involved were warned for disorderly conduct and left the area.

11:30 p.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of Rosewood Dr.

11:50 p.m. Extra patrol was provided at Maconaquah Park.
