12:09 a.m. Building check in the 600 block of S. Broadway St. Citizen assistance with checking the interior of a residence. Checked ok. Assistance was given.

12:18 a.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at JJ’s on N. Broadway St.

12:30 a.m. Citizen assistance in the 600 block of S. Broadway St. No additional information provided.

1:11 a.m. A report of an overdoes in the 400 block of N. Lee St., Peru. Officers assisted EMS.

4:17 a.m. A report of an animal problem at McDonald’s on W. Main St. Two dogs were located near the Hallmark store. Animal Control was contacted to secure the dogs. Assistance was given.

6:33 a.m. Traffic stop in the 1600 block of E. Wabash Rd., Peru. Written warning issued.

6:43 a.m. An officer provided an extra patrol for a school bus route.

7:30 a.m. A report of a possible impaired driver in the area of Adams Ave. / N. Broadway St. Driver was not intoxicated but a separate citation was issued.

7:40 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Cass St. / W. Main St. Citation and written warning issued.

8:30 a.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 10 block of N. Cass St., Peru. The vehicle was from an earlier traffic stop in which the driver was suspended and was waiting on a ride. The subject was gone upon arrival.

10:24 a.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at the Gallahan Truck Stop on W. 100 N., Peru.

12:15 p.m. A request for a welfare check in the 200 block of E. 5th St. Subject checked ok. Assistance was given.

1:47 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem at the Peru Junior High School. Assistance was given.

1:55 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the area of S. Walnut St. / W. Main St. County Units handled this call and advised PPD units to disregard.

2:03 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Brownell St. / W. 5th St.

2:05 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem at the Smoke Shop on W. Main St. Report of 2 juveniles that came into the store. Ongoing issue. A Patron said he observed the two juveniles get in a blue Buick and leave northbound. The officer was unable to locate.

2:27 p.m. A report of suspicious individuals inside a condemned residence in the 100 block of Monroe Ave. This is an ongoing investigation at this time.

2:36 p.m. An officer collected two syringes from the tree lawn in the 200 block of E. Washington Ave.

3:07 p.m. An officer took a report of harassment in the 400 block of E. 5th St.

4:09 p.m. A request for a welfare check in the 600 block of S. Broadway Ave. Welfare check requested on a possible runaway. The officer was notified that the State Police is investigating the runaway and no further assistance is needed at this time.

4:46 p.m. Property damage accident in the area of W. Main St. / S. Broadway Str. Three vehicle property damage accident in front of city hall. State accident report completed. No additional information was provided.

6:13 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the 60 block of E. 6th St. Report of a juvenile ringing a doorbell and leaving a few notes and a rock.

7:14 p.m. A report of an invasion of privacy at the Eagle’s Lodge on N. Grant St. Michael Powers, 54, of Peru was arrested on a charge of Invasion of Privacy.

7:29 p.m. A report of a fight at the Main Street Market on E. Main St. Assistance was given. Neither party wished to pursue charges.

7:41 p.m. A report of a suspicious person in the 30 block of E. 8th St. No additional information provided.

8:23 p.m. Domestic disturbance in the 00 block of Turnpaugh Trl.

9:19 p.m. A request for a welfare check at the Dollar General Store on W. Main St. Possible domestic in the parking lot. It was determined to be a medical issue. Assistance was given.

9:45 p.m. Business escort at the Dairy Queen on N. Broadway St.

10:14 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle at American Health Network on W. Old Key Dr., Peru. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

10:15 p.m. An officer assisted MCSD with a possible impaired driver in the 900 block of W. Main St.

11:00 p.m. Agency assistance in the 00 block of Center St. An officer checked this location for a missing individual. The trailer is no longer there, and the new trailers are vacant. Unable to locate.

11:51 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Water St. / Euclid Ave. Warning issued.
